Icthyon was a great stronghold of the ancient Elurians, a bastion against any possible incursions from the Fringe or Unknown Space. Historical records, though sparse, indicate that the world fell around the same time Eluria itself, most likely to the same or similar causes. Icthyon today is a shell of its former glory, ruins of long-dead cities dotting its surface. It is largely uninhabited, as its location is neither attractive nor strategic. Only a small Terra Nova military listening post and garrison is established onworld.
